I am lovin' the rain!

I love Boulder, but gosh, it is so dry here. We all have enjoyed the rain over the past few days and today the snow!

all in a day's play

I have been marveling lately at all my boys do in a day. it is so amazing to me. their creativity is just boundless and the joy they experience over the simplest activity is such a gift to me. I also love how our days flow so easily and how flexible they are. Without busy and rigid schedules we are so open to what is happening in the moment, and I love that.

claire will probably be walking in a month or so in order to keep up with her brothers. what a different life it is for a younger sibling! liam and patrick only had me for company and were glued to me, but Claire is counting the days when she can keep up w/ the boys. personality difference and my more relaxed attitude certainly are factors as well, but oh, how I long for the tribe sometimes!

fishing

the boys have been fishing with matt a few times this spring and are getting pretty good at casting. i am so grateful for the time matt has been able to spend with the kids over the last few months.
